Amanda Andrews

Raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, a recent 2011 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelors in Mass Communication-Advertising.  Ms. Andrews works as an Editorial Assistant at Nashville Music Guide. Her dedication to the organization is because of family history of heart disease.  She resides in Nashville, TN.

Nicole A. Coppersmith
Founder/Executive Director/Board Member

Raised in Central Pennsylvania, attended Pennsylvania State University, Bachelors in Speech Communication, Political Science and History.  She also participated in the University of Pittsburgh – Semester at Sea Theatre Program.  Ms. Coppersmith moved to Tennessee after living in New York City, NY and working in the Entertainment Business.  She has been an accomplished Realtor since 2004.  Ms. Coppersmith had a heart attack in February 2008.  

Denean Farrington
Board Member

Raised in Missouri, and relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.  Mrs. Farrington has spent the last 17yrs in the insurance field.  She resides in Nashville, TN with her family.

L.T. Kirk
Board Member

Kirk is a Viral Cardio-myopathy survivor and currently awaiting a Heart transplant. He resides in Nashville, TN with his partner.

Heather Leusink, MS, CEP
Board Member

Raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin, a Graduate of the University of Wisconsin receiving a Masters Degree in Science, and is a Certified Exercise Physiologist.  Mrs. Leusink has been working in Cardiac Rehabilitation since 2001.  She resides in Franklin, TN with her family.

Brandi McConnell , RN
Board Member

Raised in Arkansas, and a Registered Nurse.  Ms. McConnell has been working in the Cardiac department for the last 12 years.  She resides in Franklin, TN with her family.
